The Poole Bay Classic Car Club nominated our charity for the second year running to receive the profits made at their extravaganza at Braemore House earlier this month. The trust decided to hold a bottle stall which proved to be a great success and raised just short of £200. The wine had been donated by Tesco at Fleetsbridge and trustee members. Last year we received a donation from the car club of just short of £1,500 and we are hoping that when it is announced we will receive a similar amount this year, or it could be more.
We are very grateful to organisations such as the Poole Bay Classic Car Club for their generosity and look forward to our connection continuing with them for many years to come – as a result benefiting those receiving treatment from the cancer dept at Poole NHS Trust.
WE HAVE NOW RECEIVED A CHEQUE FOR £1,645.09 FROM THE CLUB – A TERRIFIC RESULT. WE LOOK FORWARD TO A LONG CONNECTION WITH POOLE BAY CLASSIC CARS.
