Following the sad death of his father Evan Vivian, Adrian decided to apply to run in this years London Marathon in memory of his father and to raise funds for Poole Hospital Cancer Treatment Trust. His training went well and yesterday, the day he had been waiting for had arrived.
Adrian was number 12105 in a luminous lime green T shirt which he had made specifically for the event.
It was tough race with quite a strong wind but he made the excellent time of 3hours 55 minutes.
He is delighted to have raised £552.00 which is 10% more than his aim of £500 – its not too late to support him on the Just Giving page enter Adrian Vivian and then the amount you would like to give to support the work of the cancer department at your hospital in Poole.
Many thanks to all those who supported Adrian and to him for all the work he has undertaken in running the 2024 London Marathon.
