The Trust is delighted to advise that Janet Ballam, who recently retired as a Trustee has been awarded a GOLD Community Champion award by the Borough of Poole. The award is in recognition of her work over 18 years in raising funds for the Trust to enable us to continue with our aim in assisting the hospital in providing equipment and other assistance in the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of cancer. Janet has been the face to the public for the Trust as she has organised and attended collections at many places in the County and at a number of events.
The Mayor Councillor Lindsay Wilson said ” Mrs Ballam has been a great asset to the Trust and thoroughly deserves to be recognised with this award. Her work over many years has helped countless people and she should be very proud of all she has achieved.”
