Many of you will recognise Rene from the Hospital where she has been selling hand made items for the benefit of the Poole Hospital Cancer Treatment Trust.
She has been doing this for many years and in that time she has raised many thousands of pounds to help our charity in our work for the community.
Rene is now in her 90’s and is unlikely to carry on with this work for much longer.
To acknowledge the work she has done the Trustees entertained her and her daughter to afternoon tea at the Quay Hotel in Poole.
